Dry method
If you want to strip dry, please do so low in dust. That is why we recommend the Excentr Splash & Dust Guard in combination with the Excentr Dust Control vacuum. In this way you work without cross-pollination dust and you also pick up about 50% of the dust from the floor. The dry method can have many advantages over wet methods in specific cases. To be able to strip properly you use pads with an addition of diamond or aluminium oxide.
Extreme build-up/edge build-up
In case of an extreme build-up and/or edge build-up, the floor can first be stripped/grinded with a grinding net. Use 60 / 80 or 100 grit, depending on the structure, to remove the first layers of polymer. Try to remove about 80% of the polymer. Then continue with the method described above to avoid damaging the floor itself with the aggressive grinding net.
For edge construction you can choose to cut the grinding net to size over the main side and place it on a normal stripping pad. Then work the main side of the machine (sideways) over the edge build-up to only aggressively tackle the edge build-up with the grinding net.
Pay close attention during the above processes. If you strip too far with these coarse and aggressive grinding nets, the surface may be damaged.
