Excentr Air 250

The Excentr Air 250 by Rensair destroys viruses and bacteria, while most conventional air purifiers simply collect and trap them. It is a patented solution that uses the most advanced purification technology including HEPA13 filters and UVC light.

Excentr’s Air 250 unique composition of the technology makes the difference. The position of the UVC light directed on the filter surface puts trapped pollutants under constant exposure. This exposure breaks down the DNA and RNA hence destroying all trapped pollutants.

Destruction on the filter surface further reduces the potential for contact with hazardous material during filter change.

Excentr’s ability to destroy more than 99.97% of airborne viruses (incl. coronavirus) & bacteria has been documented by independent laboratories.

How the Excentr Air Solution works:

1. The Excentr Air 250 absorbs ambient air from above and passes through a pre-filter, capturing larger particles and dust. The pre-filter is easily removed from the top of the Excentr Air 250 for cleaning and does not require replacement.

2. A powerful fan (up to 560 m³/hour, 20,000 ft³/hour, 155 litres/second) pushes the air through a cylindrical HEPA 13 filter placed at the bottom . The fan is an important part of the design. The high quality of the HEPA filter creates an extremely high static air pressure in the cylinder, making a strong fan necessary.

3. When particles touch the inside of the HEPA 13 filter, bacteria, viruses and other microorganisms present in the air are retained. The continuous flow of air causes the micro-organisms to remain trapped on the filter surface, while the UVC lamp, located in the centre of the cylinder, continuously illuminates the entire filter surface, "disinfecting" the surface by destroying the DNA and RNA in bacteria, viruses, etc. Destruction of the filter surface reduces the risk of contact with hazardous substances when changing the filter.

4. A large amount of clean air leaves the Excentr Air 250 at an angle of 360 degrees.

Is the Excentr Air 250 right for my business?

One of the main advantages of Excentr’s Air 250 is its portable and compact design, which makes it a suitable solution for almost any business.

We recommend using one Excentr Air 250 for every 120m² (1,250ft²) of space if you are running it at lowest capacity (low noise at 50dB). Or for every 210m² (2,200ft²) if your space can handle more white noise (67dB) e.g. in places with background music.

The Excentr Air 250 can work in parallel to an existing HVAC system, and won’t interfere with the airflow. In fact, an existing HVAC system can increase the room airflow and help the Excentr Air 250 get to it faster.
